CareCredit is a third-party healthcare credit card accepted in many healthcare facilities. Patients (or patient with a co-signer) may be approved an open credit limit to use anywhere it is accepted. Patients may be approved by CareCredit for 6/12/18+ month no interest re-payment options! Read more here or we are happy to help!
We are happy to set up “pre-payment” plans for any length of time. You may make payments at your convenience or with a card or file to be run automatically PRIOR to your dental appointment. Contact Cassie, Practice Manager, to figure out what will work best for you!

DENTAL INSURANCE:
If you have dental insurance, we will file the claims for you, as a complimentary service. It is the patient's responsibility to know their eligibility and benefits.
It is very important that the correct insurance information is provided at the time of the patient’s appointment. If this information changes, it is the patient’s responsibility to update Riverbend Dentistry as soon as possible.
If requested, we will provide you with an ESTIMATE of your out of pocket expense for any treatment planned by the doctor. Please understand that these are strictly estimates, however, and are not a guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse us/you according to these estimates.
Please note that any difference in payment from your insurance company and your account balance is your responsibility. If difficulty arises with payment from the insurance company, we will ask that you contact your carrier to rectify the problem.
Payment for co-pays and/or deductibles is due at the time services are provided.
All out of network Delta Dental patients must pay in full at the time of service; in accordance with plan benefits, patients will receive appropriate reimbursement from Delta Dental.
SELF PAY:
Self pay patients, including Dental Wellness Memberships, are due at the time of service. This also includes all whitening and retail products.
ACCOUNT BALANCE:
Greater than 30 days past due balances are subject to a 1.5% monthly service fee.
Payment methods accepted for your convenience: Cash, Check (non emergency patients), Visa/AMX/Discover/Mastercard, HSA cards, Paypal, Venmo, and Care Credit. Payments may also be made by phone or online.
Delinquent accounts will be sent to a collections agency and the patient will be dismissed from the practice. In the event the account requires a collections firm to collect on any unpaid balances, I understand that I am responsible for these fees.
APPOINTMENT CHANGES:
We request a 24 hour cancellation notice for scheduled appointments. A cancellation fee of $75 may be charged if a 24 hour notice is not given.
Appointments are reserved for each patient and procedure and may not always be tranferred to a different family member or service.
2 missed appointments within a year per family may lead to practice dismissal.
Patients who are more than 10 minutes late will be rescheduled.
OTHER:
Minor patients must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during treatment and provide payment at the time of service.
Due to safety concerns, unattended minor children are not allowed in procedure rooms while their guardian is receiving treatment.
DEPOSIT:
New patients, all emergency patients, and any patients with a history of failed appointments may be required to hold their appointment with a $75 deposit. (Applicable to each family member). The deposit will be used towards any patient estimate or forfeited if appointment is not kept in accordance with policies listed here.
For all operative appointments (fillings/crown/SRP/extractions/etc.), a minimum of 50% of the patient estimate is due to reserve the appointment. The remaining balance is due at the time of service. A failed appointment will result in a $75 fee that will be taken from the deposit.
