Dental Insurance

We will submit a claim to insurance on your behalf for any private insurance company if your policy allows out-of-network benefits. It is the patient’s responsibility to know their eligibility and benefits. For Delta patients, please see below.

We may collect deposits and/or estimated copays to schedule or at the time of service.

We do not accept any Medicaid plans.


Important Information for Delta Dental Patients

Effective 1/1/2025

After careful consideration, we've made the decision to go out-of-network with Delta Dental effective January 1st, 2025. Please note, this may not be forever; dental insurance is forever shifting and we will continue to stay informed.

We've been in-network for over ten years, but the changes (or lack thereof) by Delta Dental has forced us to make this decision in order to best serve our patients. If you are a newer patient of ours, you will know how FEW dentists in Jefferson City are in-network compared to five years ago. 

We understand that this change may raise questions about your dental care and insurance coverage. Our team is here to assist you in understanding your benefits, payment options, and the potential impact on your out of pocket costs. If you have questions about costs, please give us a call at least a week in advance so we can gather the information you need.

So what does this mean for you?

  • You can still receive the same great care from our office!

  • As an out-of-network provider, we will continue to submit claims on your behalf and Delta will reimburse you directly, up to their allowed fees, but it will likely not be 100%. (Please check to make sure your plan has out-of-network benefits as that is the patient's responsibility to know the details of the plan you signed up for.)

Your next steps:

  • Current patients: We hope you keep your next appointment and there is nothing you need to do before then. We will ask you for the cost of your services at the time of service and payment is expected in full or we offer no-interest payment plans with CareCredit. Find out more at www.carecredit.com

  • New patients: We will ask for a $75 deposit to schedule your appointment and the remainder of your balance at check-out. Payment is expected in full and we offer no-interest payment plans with CareCredit.
